Xtazy Energy Cranberry Blast

  Cranberry Blast runs pretty parallel to Orange Blast power and taste wise.  I was a bit scared about how I would take to a cranberry flavored energy drink, but after a few sips I’m actually quite pleased.  Like Orange Blast the flavor is very candy like…you can taste cranberry for sure, but it’s not like what you would find on the table Thanksgiving day.  The cranberry here is closer to something you would find in a pie.  Think about the cherry filling in cherry pie…now just substitute the cherries for cranberries and you’re pretty close (although it’s not quite THAT sweet).  The flavor here is a bit more balanced and refined than that in the Xtazy Orange Blast…might be that they just did a damn good job with it, might be the fact that cranberry is not a flavor my taste buds are as familiar with as they are with orange…regardless, I definitely like this one more. 

  Once again Xazy comes out very well in the power category.  Cranberry blast is just as strong as the Orange Blast so all around it’s a win in my book.  Nothing really new to say here beyond what I said in the Orange Blast review..

I’m really wishing I had another can because this stuff would rock in a Cosmopolitan!
