Apple and Pop Rocks…that all I can think of.  Pimpjuice does contain apple juice so I get that, but the other part of it is just weird.  It’s not a green apple drink like some of the others out there…not even a tart or tangy apple…it’s just kind of uhhm…apple.  Now I have been waiting a loooong time to get my hands on a can of this stuff and my expectations were pretty damn high so I might be a bit jaded here…but over all it’s just OK.  Not awesome, not wonderful, not excellent…just ok.  The base of the flavor is definitely apple juice, but on top of that there is something odd…something I can only relate to the weird flavor found in Pop Rocks…if you have never had them before then the only way you will understand is to either try them or grab a can of this stuff and look past the apple.  There is something strangely unnatural about it all but it’s not offensive or harsh.  The drink itself is not really smooth…more metallic…or something (yeah, I know really freakin descriptive…seriously, this stuff has me stumped.)  It’s a weird combination of flavor that I just can’t get a full grasp on.  I don’t know whether or not to say good things or bad things here so I’ll just stick with a firm OK.  One thing to note is that it’s not carbonated.  This might be the cause of the odd flavoring…with carbonation it might just taste like everything else apple flavored out there (hey, it is PimpJUICE and not PimpSODA after all)…..still, there is something a bit creepy about thinking that this my friends, is the flavor of pimp….??

  The power of Pimpjuice actually seemed pretty strong.  It got my heart running pretty good.  I was definitely boosted awake and I found myself far more talkative than normal.  I wouldn’t say I was bitch-slapped awake, but more like given a damn good talking to….you know, to have that money…kind of a “Is Wayne Brady gonna have to CHOKE a bitch” kind of thing…

 

Overall, if you are curious…go for it.  Lots of people will probably love it and lots of people will probably hate it….
