  Now we all know how the last Lucozade ended up in my book….old news for sure.  Luckily for me my feelings towards Lucozade Orange have not changed since the first time I tried it.  This time around what we have is actually a pretty decent carbonated orange drink.  The carbonation in these guys still seems a bit higher than what we normally get over here, but it does not seem nearly as harsh as Lucozade original.  The orange flavor itself is pretty much just good old orange juice.  No crappy artificial orange syrup here which is a nice touch in itself.  The weird part about this stuff though is that it still has a bit of that odd Alka-Seltzer flavor from the original Lucozade.  This time however, it works pretty well in the mix.  While it might seem a bit medacine-ish, it’s still not enough to throw you off, and over all everything seems to fit together to balance it all out.  Lucozade Orange is sweet, tangy and has a nice bite…but at the same time it’s still pretty easy to drink.  Very much an improvement in my book….honestly, after trying this guy I’m REALLY wishing I would have been able to get my hands on a couple of the other flavored versions Lucozade has out there.

  Now the power of Lucozade is not up to par with many of the other drinks on the market…still, for what it is Lucozade works pretty well.  Think of it as the every man’s energy drink…a more fueled up soda…a powerhouse Orange Crush.  For the more hard core energy drinkers out there you’d probably be better off splashing some in your eye to get that ever so precious rush…for everyone else however, this is a damn good choice for a beverage that is easy to drink, tastes good and gives you a slight kick in the ass when you need it.
