Extreme Coffee Shock-A-Lots
M-60
Price: $
Taste: 8
Power: 4 (each candy) Taking the whole tube would probably allow you to pull a Rain Man and count the number of toothpicks in a dropped container.
The good stuff: Chocolate and a coffee bean.
Think of a peanut M&M...now think of a super strong coffee bean. Get them drunk, put them together and this is what you’d have a few months later. Shock-A-Lots are candy/chocolate covered coffee beans that pack quite a power and flavor punch. The candy shell is pretty much what you would expect it to be, but underneath it is a super smooth dark chocolate and a nice flavorful coffee bean. Each bit of candy is about the size of your standard M&M and you get about 35 or so per container. From my understanding eating about 7 of these little guys equals a cup of coffee, so eating them all would basically be like downing 5 cups of coffee in one sitting…pretty crazy stuff. Now as you can imagine the coffee flavor is pretty damn strong. Luckily we have 3 things on our side.
1) The sweet candy shell
2) The tasty chocolate
3) The coffee beans are top notch.
That being said these guys are REALLY damn good…and addictive. I pretty much try to limit myself to the number I pour out because I could easily eat the entire package in one sitting. To say that would be a pour decision would be a large understatement. I know what the Extreme Coffee drinks have done to me…I can only imagine what would happen if I ate all these things. Odds are you could plug me up to the SETI towers and I could change channels manually to search for ET life. These little guys would make GREAT poppers for a LAN party. The tube package is easy to tote around, you get a lot of them, and you don’t need many of them. If you like coffee, espresso, mocha drinks, cappuccino drinks, give these little guys a try. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you probably shouldn’t be on this web site, and you should definitely avoid these little guys. Over all, these are highly recommended candies…give them a shot, they don’t disappoint in what they do, or how they taste…that is if you enjoy coffee.
