I love mints…Always been a big fan of a nice strong peppermint, spearmint, or winter mint.  With the popularity of Altoids came a whole onslaught of tasty mints in all types of strengths, shapes, sizes, and configurations, but up until recently they had not tapped into the caffeine craze that we have come to know and love.  We’ve already reviewed a couple of different caffeinated mints, and we really liked them a lot….problem was, unless you took several you really didn’t get much of a caffeine effect….not necessarily a bad thing because you were able to pick your dosage…but for us true caffeine whores we are always looking for that one true powerhouse.  That little issue has definitely been solved.  Foosh mints are probably the strongest caffeinated mint ANYWHERE.  100 freakin MG of caffeine per mint and you get 12 per tin…you have 1200…yes, TWELVE HUNDRED, that is One thousand two hundred milligrams of caffeine in your pocket when you are sporting a tin of Foosh mints!  That’s about 12 cans of Red Bull worth of caffeine folks (probably more)….You could stay awake for a loooooong time with that much assistance.  Each mint is about twice the size of an Altoid mint…not very big at all.  While the mint flavor is not nearly as strong, it is definitely there, and quite enjoyable…not strong enough to put off folks sensitive to mints, and not weak enough to be passed up by folks who want strong mints.  They are about in the middle of the mint power scale and they definitely hold their own there.  Flavor wise, they are about what you would expect with a little bit of an odd flavor (much like with the Buzz Bites) from the caffeine.  The Foosh mints however, hide the caffeine taste a bit more efficiently than the chocolaty flavor of Buzz Bite™ Chocolate Energy Chews so folks who are not die hard caffeine lovers might find them a bit easier to enjoy.  Something kind of interesting I noticed about the Foosh mints was how they dissolve in your mouth…they kind of go sea urchin on your ass a bit….that is they get little rounded bumps all over them from the way they dissolve.  Small little balls form around the mint as you suck on them giving them an interesting texture…nothing extraordinary, I just thought it was kind of cool….

Over all, Foosh Mints are another one of those “Must Try” products for you caffeine lovers out there.  Much smaller than say a Turbo Truffle and much easier to carry around with you at all times….Personally, I love them, and I don’t think you’ll be at all disappointed by their power!
